Betty Jane "Janie" Phillips, 63, of Cross Timbers, Missouri died on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hermitage, Missouri. Born on November 15, 1951 in Oakland, she was a daughter of Wanda (Tichnell) Barnes of Cross Timbers and the late Harold Leo Paugh. In addition to spending time with her family, Janie loved reading the Bible, crocheting and dogs. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two children, Craig Edward Phillips and companion Jerry of Delaware and Shawn Marie Phillips-Warnick of Missouri; three grandchildren, Tristan Phillips, Kavin Reid Warnick and Izabella Marie Constance Warnick; two sisters, Catherine Tasker and Judy Garcia and husband Joe, both of Missouri; a brother, Richard Earl Paugh and wife Regina of Baltimore; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Paugh and Shirley Jean Paugh. A funeral service will be held in the Walnut Bottom Assembly of God on Monday, May 11th at 1 PM with Pastors Darrell Tichinel and George Tichinel officiating. Interment will follow in the Turner Cemetery. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland has been entrusted with the arrangements.
