Betty Kolb

Betty Joyce Kolb, 68, of Swanton died on Monday, February 29, 2016 at her home. Born on June 4, 1947 in Shallmar, she was the daughter of the late Russell "Pap" E. Crosco and Sylvia Jean (Crites) Crosco Riggleman. She had worked in billing for MedStar Health and as administrative support for Bethlehem Steel - Sparrow's Point. In addition to spending time with her family, Betty enjoyed bingo and gardening. She was also an avid football fan who especially loved the Ravens. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Charles Kolb; a daughter, Lisa Weiss of Ocala, FL; a son, Charles Kolb, Jr. of Pinehurst, NC; four grandchildren, Krysta Lull, Kayla Lull, Kyra Burdette and Kaylen Weiss; a brother, Russell "Tarzan" Crosco, Jr. and wife Betty of Kitzmiller; two sisters, Bonnie Riggleman of Panama City, FL and Kathy Paugh of Kitzmiller; and three brother in laws, Michael Kolb of Pulaski, TN, Tony Kolb, Jr. and Ron Kolb of Abingdon, MD. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Kolb; a brother, Wilmer Crosco; and two brother in laws, Bill Riggleman and Miles Lee Paugh. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, March 2nd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, March 3rd at 11 AM with Pastor Joe Tichinel officiating. Interment will follow in the Turner Cemetery, Walnut Bottom Road, Swanton.
