Betty DeWitt

Betty Ann (DeBerry) DeWitt, 72, of Swanton died on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Moran Manor Health Care Center in Westernport. Born on June 27, 1939 in Deer Park, she was the daughter of the late Corwin B. and Mary H. (Sebold) DeBerry. Betty worked for Bausch & Lomb and retired from Walmart. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and especially loved reading. She is survived by one son, S. Wade Houser of Deer Park; one brother, Douglas W. DeBerry of Mt. Lake Park; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and many, many special friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David C. DeWitt in 1986 and her first husband, Eugene W. Houser. According to her wishes, Betty was cremated with no services. Donations may be made to Cindy's Fund, PO Box 182, Oakland, MD 21550, in memory of Betty Ann DeWitt. Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is handling the arrangements.
