Berent "Chris" Danielson

Berent Christian “Chris” Danielson, 80, of Terra Alta, WV passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018.  Born on October 21, 1937, in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of the late Berent Christian and Anne (Neidermeyer) Danielson.  Chris was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.  He was a member of the Corinth United Methodist Church and a member of the ROMEO’s (Retired Old Men Eating Out).  Chris was a wonderful, loving husband, father and Pop Pop.  He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by too many to count.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lou (Gotshall) Danielson; children, Christine Joy Taylor and husband James of Cumberland, Berent Christian Danielson, IV and wife Anna of Pittsgrove, NJ, Suzanne Marie Cline and husband Jack of Elkridge and Candace Elaine Moos and husband Eric of Severn; grandchildren, Jimmy Taylor and wife Katelyn, Johnny Taylor and fiancée Mary Ellen Wood, Catie Taylor, Cari Moos, Ali Moos, Erica Danielson and Billy Moos; a great granddaughter, Callie Taylor; siblings, Carol Cavaluzzi and husband Jim, Allen Danielson and Anne Severini; a number of nieces, nephews and his church family; and his dear feline companion of many years, Mazie. Friends will be received at the Corinth United Methodist Church, 34319 Veteran’s Hwy, Terra Alta, WV on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 12 to 2 PM after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Eric Beeman officiating.  Interment will take place in the Crownsville Veteran’s Cemetery on Monday, April 23, 2018, at 11:30 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corinth United Methodist Church, c/o Kelley Fultz, 1442 Freeport Rd., Terra Alta, WV 26764.  The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland has been entrusted with arrangements.
