Benjamin E. Smith, 70, of Baltimore died on Friday, October 11, 2013. Born on January 17, 1943 in Blaine, WV, he was the son of the late Robert Walker and Loretta M. (McCloud) Smith. He attended school in Elk Garden, WV and worked in manufacturing. He enjoyed old western movies and books, word searches, bingo, country music and wrestling. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Robert L. Smith and wife Betty Jean, Christine Janet Bickford, John Henry Smith, James Thomas Smith and wife Judy, Ernestine Kay Miller and husband Jimmy, Joan Loren DelBrook and husband Minto and William Donald Smith and wife Kathy L.; a brother in law, Gordon Scott; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Georgianna Mae Smith and Frances Scott; and a brother in law, Clyde Bickford. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Wednesday, October 16th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV.
