Barbara Tasker

Barbara Jean "Pyle" Tasker of Mt. Lake Park, MD passed away at her residence Wednesday, September 8, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 26, 1947 in Shalmar, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Vernon Pyle and Clara Marie (Hott) Pyle. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William E. Pyle.
Barbara was a homemaker and worked at Josie's Restaurant for eight years.
Surviving are: two sons, William and Mike Tasker, both of Mt. Lake Park, three daughters, Carol Palmer and Betty Scott, both of Kitzmiller, Connie Williamson of Oakland, one brother Vernon Pyle of Loch Lynn, MD, two sisters, Shirley Watts of Elk Garden and Vera Sines of Oakland and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church Street, Kitzmiller, MD, on Friday, September 10, 2010, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Rodney Tichinel officiating. Interment will follow at the Deer Park Cemetery.
