Barbara Ann Quattro, 89, of Davis, WV, passed away November 4, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born on November 17, 1932, in Hendricks, WV, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Maude Johnson.
Barbara was a graduate of Parsons High School. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and also a member of FOE #936 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching tv, cooking and baking, traveling with her family to go deep sea fishing, and hosting holiday meals and cookouts for her family. Everyone who knew her, knew that she loved the thrill of lottery tickets.
She is survived by three daughters, Janice Elaine Mullenax and husband Stacey of Thomas, WV, Cathy Ann Ruckman and husband Keith of Bridgeport, WV and Kimberly Jo Quattro-Corbin of Thomas, WV; four grandchildren, David "Pete" Scott and wife Missy, Cara Breedlove and husband Justin, Trevor and Ethan Phillips; eleven great grandchildren, Brendon Scott, Derek Scott, who was known as "Her Buddy", David Scott and wife Leslie, Jordan Delsignore, Ryan Delsignore, Kayla Landon, and Adalynn Breedlove; and four great-great grandchildren, Jackson, Hunter, Brianna and Micalea Scott.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on June 7, 2016, by her husband, James "Chub" Quattro, to whom she was married on January 9, 1954; two infant sons, James David and Michael Joseph Quattro; five siblings, June Lohmaier, Mandy, Frank, Fred, and Donald Johnson. Barbara was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, 9, 2022, from 3 to 5 PM at Davis Fire Hall. Pastor Ruth Bullwinkle will officiate a brief service at 5 PM. The Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Quattro family at this time.
