Barbara Ann (DeWitt) Peck, 80, of Oakland, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at the home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 24, 1940 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late George and Martha (Lytle) DeWitt.
Barbara was a devoted wife and mother and lifelong member of the Calvary Tabernacle Church in Accident. In addition to spending time with her family, Barbara enjoyed reading, puzzle books and singing for the Lord at her church. She was a sweet, kind-hearted loving woman who will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her immediate family, her church family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Bosley and husband Bruce of Deer Park; Kendra Berry and husband Michael of Accident; one grandson, Connor Bosley of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Patsy Bowers and husband Ron; Wilma Rodeheaver and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth H. Peck in 2017; two sisters, Betty Harvey and husband Dale; Cleta Tasker and husband John; a brother, Gene DeWitt and a brother-in-law, Dale Rodeheaver.
Friends will be received at the C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 21 North Second Street Oakland, on Thursday, October 1st from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Calvary Tabernacle, 27893 Garrett Highway, Accident on Friday, October 2nd at 11 AM with Bishop Pascal Crites officiating. Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
