Barbara Paugh

Barbara E. Paugh, 79, of Terra Alta, WV passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at her home. Born on July 17, 1936 in Kingwood, WV, she was a daughter of the late Oliver Jackson and Iva Pearl (Reckart) Thomas. She attended the Terra Alta Assembly of God. In addition to spending time with her family, Barbara enjoyed crocheting and flowers. She is survived by five children, Robert R. Paugh and spouse Nora of Oakland, Sandra E. Paugh of Terra Alta, Abby A. Poling and spouse Kim of Terra Alta, Lester O. Paugh and spouse Britani of Mt. Sterling, KY and Eugene D. Paugh and spouse Debra of Elkins, WV; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Della Loughry of Terra Alta and Wilma Holmes and spouse Lester of Grafton, WV; and a brother, Marvin Thomas and spouse Ethel of Kingwood, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert Oliver Paugh, in 2008; one sister; and five brothers. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, August 7th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, August 8th at 11 AM with Pastor Shawn Bittinger officiating. Interment will be in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
