Barbara Layman

Barbara Ann (Hebb) Layman, 84, of Aurora, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November, 26, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 12, 1937, in Pierce, WV, to the late Berley George and Beulah (Harper) Hebb.

Barbara was a graduate of Aurora High School,  full-time mother, and later in life, worked at Heck's, Treasure Island, and Dollar General.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Layman; children, Bradley Lewis and wife Jean of Cannonsburg, PA, Joyce Crawford of Oakland, MD, Renee Gaither of Eglon, WV, Wyatt Lewis and wife Phyllis Lewis of Rawlings, MD, Neil Lewis of Eglon, WV, Dean Lewis and wife Michelle of Deltona, FL, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Junior, Leonard, Jim, and Nick Hebb; one sister, Lois Calcamp; one daughter, Melody Ann Lewis.

At Barbara's request, there will be a  private graveside service at Garrett County Memorial Gardens on Monday, November 29, 2021. The Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family at this time.

Masks will be required for those in attendance at the service.
