Audrey Lewis

Audrey Mae Lewis, 85, of Oakland died on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Born on June 22, 1929 in Steubenville, OH, she was a daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Catherine Elizabeth (Kuzma) Baker. In addition to spending time with and taking care of her family, Audrey enjoyed music, making crafts and attending church. She is survived by nine children, Diana Reeves of Cumberland, Dailey Lewis, Jr., David Lewis and wife Jeanne, Danny Lewis, Sharon Welch and husband Cecil, all of Oakland, Phyllis Stemberg and husband John of Florida, Gloria Robinette of Terra Alta, WV, Roger Lewis and Robert Lewis, both of Oakland; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Arnold of Oakland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Brandy Talbot and Christine Elizabeth Myers; a great granddaughter, Stephanie Hebb; and three brothers, Fred Baker, James Baker and Andrew Baker. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, June 4th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, June 5th at 11 AM with Pastor Ross Glotfelty officiating. Interment will follow in the Taylor-Sines Cemetery. Audrey's family would like to especially thank the nurses and aides who lovingly cared for her over the past nine years.
