Ardis "Sandy" Teets

Ardis "Sandy" Virginia Teets, 78, of Eglon, WV, died on Friday, July 22, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 30, 1944, in Oakland she was the daughter of the late Thayer and Bertha (Davis) Sanders.

She was a member of the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, and served as a deaconess. Sandy was also a member of the Oakland Bowling League and Eglon Homemakers. She was a loving housewife and mother and enjoyed bowling, reading, playing bingo, and selling Stanley Products.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Leland F. Teets; a son, Nathan A. Teets of Clover, SC; a daughter, Nicole R. Teets of Eglon, WV; three sisters, Helen Sanders of Cumberland, MD, Karen Fint of Georgetown, TX, and Lydia Dawson and husband Henry of Elkins, WV; and one brother, Eric Sanders and wife Lynn of Stonewood, WV.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Frank Eberley.

Friends will be received Monday, July 25, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St. Oakland, MD. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 11:00 am, at the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, 3075 Maple Spring Hwy, Eglon, WV., with Pastor Robert Spaid officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Maple Spring Cemetery. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Teets family.

The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice Care for their kindness and care they provided during Ardis' time of need. She fought a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
