Anne Meade

Anne Marie Meade, 75, of Oakland, beloved wife of William Meade, was called to her eternal resting place on May 22, 2020. She entered this world on August 22, 1944, in Waverly, NY, born to Henry and Mary Billings (Vargo). She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; sons, Robert and David; grandchildren, Candice, Cori, Caitlyn, Carly, Alexandria, Eva, Eric, James and Andrew; two great grandchildren; brothers, James, Joseph, Robert, Charles, Ronald; and sister, Susan. Anne was a member of St Paul's United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed her time with the Sew Crafty Ladies. Anne enjoyed knitting and made hundreds of blankets, hats, and gloves for many organizations including the Linus Project. She also loved puzzle games and could beat anyone at “Dr. Mario”. There was always at least one cat in the house, the current cat being a rescue named Amber. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. A memorial service will be planned for later date. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is honored to be assisting the Meade family.
