Anna Pennington

Anna Corena Pennington, 84, of Terra Alta, WV, died on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Stonerise Healthcare of Kingwood, WV.

She was born on January 19th, 1939, in Gormania, WV and was the daughter of the late Eston and Nellie (Shreve) Cosner.

Anna worked for 26 years at the former Cuppett and Weeks Nursing Home as a housekeeper. She loved listening to music, playing the guitar and gardening.

Anna was baptized as one of Jehovah Witness and served faithfully in the Oakland, MD congregation until her death.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George A. Pennington; children, Rick Liller and wife Rebecca. Cathy Liller Callison and husband Michael, and Toby Pennington and wife Lisa, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Blanche Duff and Betty Lambka, as well as one son, David Liller, and one granddaughter, Erica Lillier.

According to her wishes, Anna was cremated and services will be at the Oakland, MD Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 9, 2023, at 2 pm.
