Anna Hartka

August 22, 1920 — February 17, 2010

Mrs. Hartka was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Church of Oakland.

Surviving are one son, Albert J. Hartka of Baltimore; two daughters, Christine Comfort of Oakland, MD, Barbara Fritts of Abingdon, MD; one sister, Theresa Staniewski of Baltimore; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Lilly & Zeiler Funeral Home, 700 S. Conkling Street, Baltimore, MD on Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2010 at St. Bridgett's Catholic Church. Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, MD was in charge of the arrangements.

Anna Mary Hartka, 89 of Oakland, MD and formerly of Baltimore, MD died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital.

Born August 22, 1920 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Stefan) Kitko. She was also preceded in death by her husband Albert F. Hartka, and by brothers, Edward, John and Paul Kitko.
