Anna Burrell

Anna Elizabeth Burrell, 84, of Oakland, died on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Lifebridge Dove House in Westminster. Born on December 16, 1936, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Albert M. and Hallie P. (Fulmer) Moon. Anna had worked for C & P Telephone as a switchboard operator and was a Kurtz Chapel United Methodist Church member in Oakland. She loved spending time with her family. Anna is survived by her husband of 66 years, Andrew Burrell; two daughters, Angela Stocksdale and husband William; Deborah Daiker and husband Richard, all of Westminster; six grandchildren; two brothers, George and Luther "Buck" Moon, both of Oakland; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jennette Steyer, and three brothers, Earl, Lloyd, and Ralph Moon. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, on Sunday, August 8, 2021, from 3 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 11 AM, with Pastor Barbara Rexroad officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
