Andrew Smith

Andrew P. Smith, 64, of Elk Garden, WV died on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his home. Born on September 9, 1951 in Blaine, WV, he was the son of the late Ervin and Hazel (McCloud) Smith. He was a fuel truck driver for the former Deep Creek Oil Company, Inc. He was also a member of the Kitzmiller Fire Department. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Mary Ann (McCloud) Smith; two daughters, Tina Swietzer and husband Tommy of Blaine and Sherry Smith and fiance Charlie of Elk Garden; seven grandchildren, Katelynn, Tommy and Dylan Sweitzer, Bentley and Noah Birchland, and Trystan and Tevlan Baker; two sisters, Mamie Keplinger and husband Dave of Blaine and Nancy Gower and husband Roger of Hutton, MD; mother in law, Nellie McCloud; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Baker; a brother, Charles "Chuck" Smith; and father in law, John McCloud. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Thursday, April 14th from 3 to 6 PM after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor John Friend officiating. Private family interment will take place in Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden.
