Amy Sweitzer

Amy Charlotte Sweitzer, 90 of Swanton, MD, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Goodwill Mennonite Home in Grantsville.
Born December 18, 1920 in Shallmar, MD, she was the daughter of the late Cyres Arlington & Jennie Ellen (Rexrode) Harvey. Amy was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Sweitzer.
Amy was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: daughters-Clara Coddington, Swanton and Lois Kathleen White, Martinsburg, WV; two sons-Arthur L. "Artie" Sweitzer and Randy Sweitzer, both of Swanton, MD; two sisters, Glenna Sweitzer and Freda Teets, both of Swanton; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
At Amy's request her body will be cremated and the family will hold a private service at a later date. She will be interred in the George Cemetery, Swanton, MD.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Appalachian Crossroads, 39 South 3rd St, Oakland, MD.
