Amanda Dee Weeks, 45, of Bayard, WV, died on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 24, 1968 in Oakland, MD, and was raised in Kempton, WV. She was the daughter of the late William Lawson and Katy Bell (Dragovich) Hilton. Amanda worked in the fast food industry. She loved animals, especially her two birds, the ocean, being outdoors, and loved to make people laugh. She is survived by her husband, John Weeks; three children, Heidi, Casey and Cattlin Weeks; siblings, Kathy Sipp, of Mt. Storm, Shirley Lantz and Patty Terrant of Lusby, MD, Carolyn Tasker of Chicago, IL, Marilyn Hilton of Las Vegas, Jim Hilton of Oakland, Bill Hilton of St. Clairsville, OH, Jeff Hilton and Sonya Davis of Wheeling, WV. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St, Oakland on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6 to 9 PM. A memorial service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family at PO Box 104, Bayard, WV 26707.
