Amanda Marie Long, 26, of Thomas, WV died May 21, 2016. She was born June 14, 1989 in Elkins, WV a daughter of Michael Troy Long and Toria Kay Trainor. Also surviving are her step father, Daniel Trainor and step mother, Pamela Long, grandparents, Troy and Ruth Ann Long and Kathleen Kay Mahoney, companion, Chuck “Worm” Arnold, 2 sisters, Melissa Dawn (Jessie) Davis, Dry Fork, WV, Michelle Lynn Long, Harman, WV, step son, Brian Arnold, Thomas, WV, step brother, Chase Daniel (Elizabeth) Phelps, Phenix City, AL, 2 aunts, Lois (Aaron) Brown, Mary (Theodore) Pederson, 3 uncles, William Paul Mahoney II, Christopher Todd Mahoney, Mark Tarrell (Wanda) Mahoney, 3 neices, Zoie Lynn Davis, Meredith Jade Phelps and Olivia Grace Phelps. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Paul Mahoney. Amanda was employed by Blackwater Falls State Park, Housekeeping Dept. She enjoyed 4-wheel jeep mudding, motorcross racing and travelling. Friends will be received on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at the Dry Fork Assembly of God Church from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday May 26 at the Dry Fork Assembly of God Church with Rev. Todd Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in the Flanagan Memorial Cemetery, Laneville, WV. Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
