Alice Nelson

Alice Mae (Wagoner) Nelson, 73, of Keyser, WV died on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Heartland of Keyser. Born on December 25, 1938 in Romney, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Lillian (Heavener) Wagoner. Alice was a homemaker and loved playing bingo. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Clarence L. Nelson; her children, Vickie and Eugene Hawk, Kenny Nelson, Donnie and Connie Nelson, Jim and Lynn Nelson, Joe and LaDonna Nelson, and Tammie and Stanley VanMeter; twenty-two grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Conard, Peggy Bergdoll, Hazel Buckley, and Eva Summerfield; and brothers, Timmy Wagoner, Woodrow Wagoner, and Robert Wagoner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Sonny Nelson and a brother Junior Wagoner. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 29th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller, MD where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 30th with the Rev. Donald Marple officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Cross, WV.
