Alice Madigan

Alice May Madigan, 71, of Deer Park died on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis, IN. Born on March 10, 1941 in Deer Park, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. "Bud" and Eva Alice (Parsons) Madigan. She had previously worked at Baush & Lomb and retired after working as a CNA at the Adult Day Care in Oakland and Frostburg Village. She loved bingo and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by three children, Alicia Murphy of Deer Park, Vicki Wilhelm and husband Michael of Plainfield, IN, and James Riggleman, Jr. and wife Maurica of Oakland; five grandchildren, K.J. Murphy, Angel Murphy, Staci Andrews, Aaron Riggleman and Ashley Riggleman; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Rose McCrobie of Oakland; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Smith, Norma Madigan and Jenny Welch. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday, November 27th from 6 to 8 PM and on Wednesday, November 28th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Barbara Rexroad officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HART for Animals, PO Box 623, McHenry, MD 21541.
