Adrian Anderson

Adrian C. "Audie" Anderson, 92, of Brookeville and Deep Creek Lake died on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Born on October 6, 1925 in Lonaconing, he was the son of the late Alexander and Marguerite (Nelson) Anderson. Audie was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp and was an elementary school principal for the Montgomery County School System. He had been a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Brookeville. He loved spending time with his family and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris L. (Crichton) Anderson; two children, Adrian Lee "Andy" Anderson and wife Joan of Winchester, VA and Jane Lynn Anderson Robbins and husband Keith of Mount Airy; five grandchildren, Rachelle Stump and husband Donald, Adrian James "Andy" Anderson and Matthew Windle "Matt" Anderson, Jack Wilson Robbins and Hannah Jane Robbins; and four great grandchildren, Quincy and Emmy Lou Anderson and Jaden and Mason Stump. No service will be held at this time. Memorial donations in Mr. Anderson's name may be made to Hospice of Garrett County, PO Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550.
