Ada Alice Landon, 96 of Oakland, MD died Friday April 23, 2010 at her daughter's residence, New Creek, WV.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick G. Landon, and one son Wayne Landon. Ms. Landon was the last surviving member of her family of 12 siblings.
Surviving are her sons Harold, Ralph, and Richard Landon all of Alliance Ohio and Edward Landon of Oakland, MD. Daughters Nancy Dean of Harrisburg, KY, Alice Bell of Mt. Lake Park, MD, and Rose Parks of New Creek, WV, 27 grandchildren and numerous great and great- great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home 21 N. Second Street, Oakland on Sunday April 25, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 26, 2010 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Reverend Bill Linhart officiating. Internment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
