About Us

Originally from Piedmont, WV, Chris previously worked for Bausch and Lomb in Oakland and Scarpelli Funeral Home in Cumberland.  Sherri moved to Western Maryland in the early 90's after graduating from college and practiced as a Speech Pathologist in Dennett Road Manor and the former Cuppett and Weeks Nursing Home among other locations.  Both are graduates of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and Licensed Morticians in the state of Maryland.  Chris also holds licenses in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  Giving back to their community has always been important to both and they volunteer and serve a number of organizations including Hospice of Garrett County, Garrett County Commission for Women and the Kitzmiller Lions Club. They live in Oakland with their two daughters, Jocelyn and Sara and their labradoodle, Dexter.  In their free time, they enjoy time on the water.  

Donna lives in Elk Garden, WV with her husband Dan and dog Tank.  She has two grown daughters and one beautiful granddaughter, Ella.  Donna is a devoted and faithful member of the Nethken Hill United Methodist Church.  She can also be seen at functions throughout the area with the church's catering venture, Heavenly Catering.  She has recently made the move to "part-time" status so that she can spend more time with little Ella! 

Born and raised in Garrett County, Dick is a proud veteran of the United States Army who goes the extra mile to help fellow veterans.  He lives in Oakland with his wife Betty.  Dick is always ready to assist families and help them feel comfortable.

A happy and intelligent Labradoodle, Dexter makes quick friends with anyone who is interested.  He also functions as a doorbell and vacuum when needed.
